Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of equipment do you use? 

I use two Canon 40D 10.1 megapixel SLRs at every wedding I photograph. Each lens I use has been painstakingly sought-out for quality, sharpness and contrast, and I have backups for all my equipment.

Do you have an assistant?

I don’t generally use an assistant, but from time to time, couples prefer to have two photographers at their wedding. If you would like a second shooter for your wedding, it is something that we can arrange.

Will you visit our ceremony location beforehand?

If, after speaking with you, the location where you are getting married seems as though it will pose a particularly unique challenge, I will make a point to visit it beforehand. Though this happens on occasion, it is not typically the case. I am accustomed to assessing the photographic needs of a location in minutes and I bring all my equipment with me to every wedding I photograph.

Are you insured?

Yes. I am licensed and fully insured.

Is this your full-time job?

It is. While I do freelance photojournalism on occasion and I pursue documentary projects in my own time, wedding photography is my primary source of income.
